Thousands join online seminar to hear fulfillment reality of scripture

On Saturday 23 July 2022 thousands of Christian believers were able to hear the fulfilment of Christian biblical prophecies being testified online. The Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Mr. Man-Hee Lee, emphasized how the prophecy of the Bible book of Revelation has been fulfilled in reality today.

During the seminar, called “Prophecy and Fulfilment of the Old & New Testament”, he explained each chapter of Revelation one by one and urged pastors, believers and skeptics alike to check Scripture again and again for themselves. “Pastors, please make a correct decision” he exclaimed earnestly.

Chairman Lee said that one can most certainly believe the Bible without a doubt when the contents of Matthew 24 and the book of Revelation (that prophesy about the Second Coming of Jesus), are fulfilled. “I want to prove what I saw and heard in person. If there is anything wrong with what I say as evidence, please let me know. Anytime.”

This special seminar was broadcasted on the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji and will remain available for anyone to watch. The previous seminar on 4 July was also conducted by Chairman Lee. He summarized the contents of the church’s Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced level courses. The church makes all its lessons available free of charge to the public to watch and learn at any time on YouTube.

The recent series of seminars reflect the growing interest in what Shincheonji is testifying and the actual evidence it provides. The number of views of Shincheonji’s lectures and courses has now exceeded 20 million worldwide. Numerous requests for material to be sent and provided to those watching the lectures are received daily by the church.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus recorded an annual increase of more than 20,000 members in 2020 and 2021 when the COVID-19 pandemic was raging. More than 100,000 people attended online lectures in the first half of this year alone, making the year-end graduation ceremony of 100,000 students achievable.

Despite slander and persecution from many churches and politicians, the rapid increase in the church’s membership is largely attributed to evidence provided by various public seminars as posted on the Shincheonji YouTube channel.

Subsequently, Chairman Lee, who proved the events of each chapter of Revelation, said that God’s kingdom must be established on earth so that God can come. He said, “I’m not talking about what I’ve learned from anyone or what I have studied and learned. I’m talking about what I’ve seen with my own eyes and what I’ve heard with my own ears.” Chairman Lee urged believers to be part of the 144,000 and great multitude who have come out from the great tribulation, as mentioned in Revelation. He added that one needs to be sealed and recreated through God’s Word and explained the process of God’s salvation in the book of Revelation.

The chairman of the church concluded, “This individual has seen and heard it first-hand. Even if I die, I cannot say that I couldn’t deliver God’s word,” and urged saints to check Scripture, the evidence, and to believe.

Mountain biking in Gqeberha’s Baakens Valley

The Government enforced lockdown at the start of the Covid epidemic followed by the subsequent business work-from-home trend has forced people out of their comfort zones to find varied methods of coping with the stresses of life and get some much-needed exercise.

It even influenced people to relocate to areas where they have easy access to beaches, sports fields, parks, or mountain trails as a means to bring the right balance in their lives, especially among the younger working-class generation.

Gqeberha is a city brimming with such choices.  It boasts beautiful beaches and endless mountain trails with an abundance of forests and rivers within easy access to the metropole.  One area popular to the locals is the 23km stretch named the Baakens Valley which is around 500 hectares in size and runs through the middle of the Gqeberha suburbs.  It falls under the jurisdiction of the Parks and Recreation Department and provides free walking and mountain bike trails.

Trails consist of singletrack, jeep track, switchbacks, drop-offs and numerous bridge crossings lower in the valley. Everyone knows why the city is also referred to as the Windy City, but riding in the valley offers mountain bikers and trail runners an escape from these harsh conditions.

However, such trails always need maintenance and sound reasoning encourages one to join a walking or mountain biking club of choice, not only for the sustainability of these facilities but also for one’s own safety when using it.

One such club is called the FatTracks Mountain Bike Club and it is run by volunteers who maintain and even expand the network of trails. A quote from a promotional flyer of the club explains more:

“One of the main contributors to the development of this trail network in the Baakens Valley is the Fat Tracks Mountain Bike Club.

Established in 1989, FatTracks was the first MTB club in South Africa. Through its membership and various sponsors, the club has developed multiple trails around the Gqeberha area and much of the Baakens Valley network keeping the Baakens Valley in great condition.

The club employs two permanent trail builders responsible for expanding and maintaining the trail network.

Trail builders are truly the unsung heroes of mountain biking.

Without their efforts, there would be no trails. And the Baakens Valley, could not remain in sustainable riding condition, year after year. Trail builders restore it after seasonal floods.

Ride as much or as little, as you like.  The beauty of the network is the multiple entry and exit points, depending on where you are situated in Port Elizabeth. The result is that thousands of mountain bikers are just a few kilometres from a vast trail network. In a world where land access for recreation is becoming more and more of a problem, it does not get better than this.

Baakens Valley’s official trailhead is at the Conti FatTracks containers near the Elliot Centre on the William Moffat Expressway. From there, the trail loops along the valley, before culminating at the Bridge Street Brewery.”

Christians encouraged to unite and become one

On Monday 4 July 2022 the Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Mr Man-Hee Lee, addressed Christian pastors, believers and journalists worldwide through a special online seminar and encouraged Christians to investigate the prophecies of the book and Revelation.

The church organised this special seminar as summary after its global online Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced Level courses based on the Bible came to a conclusion on 27 June. The duration of the course was nine months.

Chairman Lee encouraged Christians to “become one by checking the revealed testimony of reality” while referring to the many prophecies and promises recorded in the Bible being fulfilled. The seminar entitled “66 Books of the Bible, Secrets of Heaven and the Testimony of the New Testament Revelation”, was broadcasted on YouTube and was attended by pastors from all over the world, including more than 240 pastors from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and other Southern African countries.

Pastors, believers and journalists were encouraged by Chairman Lee saying, “If you have any evidence of this testimony being wrong or any abnormalities, please always tell me.” He expressed his desire to explain Christian Scripture without anyone having misunderstandings or confusion regarding the content of the lessons.

“We need to check when, where, and how far Jesus’ promises have been fulfilled, not just believing unconditionally,” Chairman Lee said. The Chairman further emphasised that, “If the evidence of the entire book of Revelation and the New and Old Testaments that Shincheonji revealed is correct, shouldn’t everyone believe it?”

Chairman Lee explained how Jesus made a New Covenant in Luke 22 as recorded in the Bible and said that, “The New Covenant is that Jesus, who fulfilled the Old Testament, promised to come back at the time of his second coming.” Chairman Lee further explained that Jesus wanted to achieve what is explained in the Biblical book of Revelation through the New Testament, and added how God wants to fulfil this in our era.

He made an appeal to those listening to the seminar: “Didn’t you record what Shincheonji Church testified to the whole world? If the word is correct, let us become one in the word and come before God.” Chairman Lee concluded by saying, “As the Old Testament is fulfilled, the New Testament is also fulfilled. We have testified the main contents of Revelation and the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Please record it and watch it again and again, and let us become one.”

While Shincheonji’s nine-month long online Bible course recently concluded, the church expects more than 100,000 students to graduate later this year. The Bible course had more than 21 million views. It is available online together with the recent seminar (on 4 July presented by Chairman Man-Hee Lee) on Shincheonji Church’s official YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/c/ShincheonjiChurchofJesus
